The North Gate
On the eastern side of the peninsula of Panagia there is to this day the gate that led to the unwalled part of the peninsula to the shipyard (carnagio) and the Aqueduct (Kamares). There was probably a bastion next to it, to ensure the control of the gates and access to the settlement of the peninsula, but also to monitor the traffic in the shipyard and the aqueduct.
